Veterans Village of Highland Park is a dedicated sanctuary committed to supporting our nation’s veterans. Our mission is to offer housing, counseling, and training services to these brave individuals, helping them regain a sense of community often lost upon leaving the military. We strive to create a welcoming environment that fosters camaraderie and support among veterans. Our primary objective is to equip them with essential work and life skills through our state-of-the-art training facility, enabling them to become self-sustaining, productive, and prideful citizens in society. At Veterans Village, we are passionate about empowering veterans and facilitating their successful transition into civilian life.

“community” that many lose when leaving service and provide a training facility where they can obtain tangible work and life skills necessary to be self-sustaining, productive, prideful citizens.

Veterans Village of Highland Park Training Facility
The Village will have a state-of-the-art training facility for veterans who will attend free of charge. Because Highland Park is lacking in such facilities and to extrapolate our sense of community to the City-t-large, 11* and 12″ grade students and non-veteran Highland Parkers will also be allowed to attend for a nominal fee.
The curriculum will include the following topics:
- Basic Math, Science, English and True History
- Skilled Trades: Electrical, Plumbing, Welding, Carpentry, Dry-Walling
- Masonry
- Beekeeping and Honey Production / Agriculture / Fishkeeping
- Entrepreneurship – From Concept to Execution of Start-Up
- Basic Computer Concepts
- Cyber Security
